Apparently, the sisters were big supporters of the band in their earliest days, and provided the Arizona-based band a place to crash while in LA. It features Rachel Haden of The Rentals and that dog. Two other versions are available. The audio version is currently available on the deluxe edition of Bleed American. Also, a demo of the song can be found on the bootleg Bleed American Demos.
I believe it was written for 2 friends who died in a car accident coming home from a Weezer concert.. I think it's got something to do with a friend of his who is now dead. Well, when he says "There no one in town I know, you gave us someplace to go" I think he means that he originally was the "new guy" and whoever this other person is, he or she helped him. I think it's death because he says in the chorus "may angels lead you in" and "on sleepless roads the sleepless go". Angels would lead the friend into heaven, and sleepless roads to heaven because the deceased don't sleep anymore. I have absolutely no idea who this guy Jimmy Eat World is except for this song. This song reminds me of a very close friend that I lost recently.
