Thomas the tank down by the docks
Down at the Docks by Wilbert AwdryDown at the docks
I didnt like this book, Down at the Docks, because its a little kids book especially Thomas books. My nephew liked it. He likes reading about trains and seeing how fast they go.
The plot of this story started out with Thomas on a hill and he saw everyone else working hard and he wanted to help and nobody would let him help. He a smaller engine and everyone else was a big engine so he asked almost every train, but they all said the same things. He saw these cars with a squid and a shark in separate cars and he was talking to Salty, the train, who was pulling them. Then another train came around the corner and was in a hurry and crashed into another train and Thomas help clean up and proved that smaller engines can do things to.
Thomas was the main character in this book. He was being shut down by the big, mean trains. He wanted to prove that he could work as hard as they were. No one would give him a chance and eventually he was able to prove that he could do the hard work like the rest of them.
I recommend this book to little kids, ages five to seven and mostly boys. I would personally give this book a one star because I do not like this book, but my nephew would give it five stars because he likes trains and how fast they go.
