The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe

Tom Wolfes much-discussed kaleidoscopic non-fiction novel chronicles the tale of novelist Ken Kesey and his band of Merry Pranksters. In the 1960s, Kesey led a group of psychedelic sympathizers around the country in a painted bus, presiding over LSD-induced acid tests all along the way. Long considered one of the greatest books about the history of the hippies, Wolfes ability to research like a reporter and simultaneously evoke the hallucinogenic indulgence of the era ensures that this book, written in 1967, will live long in the counter-culture canon of American literature.

Does anyone remember the Kool-Aid bursts drinks that came with a color changing tablet? It came in the normal 6pack, and the little tablet was white and probably an inch tall and just big enough to fit through the top of the drink. I don't remember if the tablet was flavored or not though. I've only had one other person tell me they know what I'm talking about, and I can't find it on

definitely a squeezit. I can't find anything else on it either, besides a crappy screenshot from a commercial of a little girl dropping something into.
