6 Plays by Rodgers and Hammerstein by Oscar Hammerstein II

Heres what you get with this marvelous book: the complete scripts, including lyrics, for the original stage plays of Oklahoma!, Carousel, Allegro, South Pacific, The King and I, and Me and Juliet. You also get the cast list for the original opening for each.

You dont get any analysis, gossip, or background. Just the scripts. And although Id love more, getting the scripts is awesome. I spotted this in the local public library when I was ten and tried to type a copy of the lyrics for all the songs for all the plays on my mothers typewriter in the seven days that I was allowed to have it - getting through Oklahoma! and part of South Pacific - before I had to return the book. Finally Ive got my own copy. A treasure.
