Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson RawlsI read this book in 4th grade. One day I was waiting for class when an obnoxious boy decided it would be a good idea to take it. I informed him that it was my favorite book in the whole wide world and if he didnt give it back that hed be sorry. He then threatened to tear the book in half. With that I walked over to him, hit him over the head with my cast (I had broken my wrist a few weeks prior), took my book and calmly walked away.
I think that a book that inspires someone to violence in the 4th grade is worth reading, dont you?

The mission and purpose of the YPWW is to be an encouragement to the youth of the church, to prepare them to have a relationship with Christ, to teach them to live boldly for Christ with courage, to give them a platform where they may share God's love and proclaim His wonderful works. Our Sunday School is second to none.
We would like to extend a heartfelt welcome and invite you to come out and kneel before our Father and Creator and pray. We want you to get to know Jesus and understand his word. The need for prayer today is greater than ever. Our world faces wars, along with an epidemic of broken homes, poverty, violence, sexual immorality and social strife. We must commit ourselves to prayer and seeking God. We must ask the Lord to bless us so that we will have the fortitude to overcome the challenges at hand. In Prayer and Bible Band you can give expression to truths learned in a practical way, by actually speaking forth the word of God in discussion, object lessons, or messages.
