Dog and scissors manga ending
Etiquette & Espionage (Finishing School, #1) by Gail CarrigerIts one thing to learn to curtsy properly. Its quite another to learn to curtsy and throw a knife at the same time. Welcome to Finishing School.
Fourteen-year-old Sophronia is a great trial to her poor mother. Sophronia is more interested in dismantling clocks and climbing trees than proper manners--and the family can only hope that company never sees her atrocious curtsy. Mrs. Temminnick is desperate for her daughter to become a proper lady. So she enrolls Sophronia in Mademoiselle Geraldines Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality.
But Sophronia soon realizes the school is not quite what her mother might have hoped. At Mademoiselle Geraldines, young ladies learn to finish...everything. Certainly, they learn the fine arts of dance, dress, and etiquette, but they also learn to deal out death, diversion, and espionage--in the politest possible ways, of course. Sophronia and her friends are in for a rousing first years education.
NOVEL: Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou
The show started out surprisingly good, with an interesting premiss and a likeable main character. I thought it might deal with more serious things down the road, like dealing with a death of a loved one, or some such heavier material. I can definitely say that this show stayed as far away from the serious as possible. The story revolves around an early death of the main character, Kazuhito Hitomi. After his death he comes back as a dog who then gets adopted by that same girl he saved, Kirihime. This show started promisingly original with the main concept that the main character dies right away.

The absurd mystery comedy centers around Kazuhito Harumi, a high school boy who is obsessed with reading books. One day, he is killed in the middle of a robbery and resurrected as a dachshund dog. Unable to read in his new form, the hapless Kazuhito now belongs to Kirihime Natsuno, a sadistic novelist who uses scissors on Kazuhito to abuse him. Natsuno the black-haired sadist woman with striking red eyes. The Opening Theme was quite a striking difference to any anime song mostly used for most anime. Not sure whether to think its overly upbeat in not exactly a pleasing way or not.
