Michael w smith all about you
Your Place in This World: Discovering Gods Will for the Life in Front of You by Michael W. SmithI have all of Michael W. Smiths books and decided to re-read this one. One thing I love about his books is the packaging of the books (most of his anyway). My copy is a hardback book that is about the size of a paperback. I just love the size of the print too-easy to read.
The book is in 4 parts, so one can read it in sections, or by the chapters that are in each section. Smith and his co-writer tell great stories about Smiths life and some things behind his songs (at this time he released the Live The Life CD). Even though the book may seem geared towards teens, I still enjoy reading it, along with re-learning the topics about knowing where you are going in life, to having passion in life and serving others. You dont need to be a teen to get something out of this book.

He became a devout Christian at age ten and spent his teenage years around a support group of fellow believers who frequently gathered to create music. That support group split up after high school, and Smith turned to alcohol, drugs, and wild times.
