The Walking Dead, Issue #100 by Robert Kirkman

This Issue has the most variant covers of any issue so far, with nine different covers by authors such as Todd McFarlane, Sean Phillips, Marc Silvestri, Bryan Hitch, Frank Quitely and Ryan Ottley.

Robert Kirkman has stated that issue #100 is going to easily be the most gruesome, most violent, disturbing issue of The Walking Dead yet.

The Walking Dead #100 sold out of it’s initial 383,612 issue order, breaking the record for best-selling comic book in initial orders for any publisher since 1997.

Image Comics have released a teaser for Issue 100 that states, Lucille Is Coming with The Walking Dead logo beneath it. This was a hint to Negans weapon of choice; his baseball bat with barbed wire around the end.
Since The Walking Dead #100 sold out of its initial issue order, it will go to a second printing. The second printing will include a new cover featuring Negan with his signature weapon, Lucille.

It is signed by Robert Kirkman, the creator of the comic and TV series, and signed by Charlie Adlard, the series artist who has added a sketch of Rick to the cover! Select comic retailers were given one copy of this signed book as a thank you for their support. A really tough one to find in CGC Signature Series in high grade due to the tendency of black cover books to have stresses and spine wear. On top of that, CGC issued the following note, once it became apparent that there were some unsigned copies in circulation: "Due to the unexpected surfacing of unsigned copies of Walking Dead Lucille Variant, and the Signature Series policy conflicts that have arisen due to them, we are putting a time limit on their eligibility for CGCs Signature Series designation. Nothing but good intentions were behind this original offer, so were trying to salvage what we can with what was witnessed. This copy has been professionally graded by CGC and slabbed in a sealed protective case.
