This hotel goes well with the island itself. We enjoyed our stay, however we were surprised when our waiter at a restaurant told us that the 4th floor is haunted!! We of course were staying on the 4th floor I assure you that the only spirits that you'll find here are located behind the bar in the Grill Room. Outstanding hotel. The location is such that you are close to the downtown area, but not right in the middle of it.

We had a good time going through the Haunted Theatre. There were a few jump scares and screams, but If you rush through you'll be disappointed. Creep your way along and don't be judgey. This isn't I am sorry that we didn't go here sooner. It's original and done right.

Sometimes history is more interesting looking straight at it, right? The Downtown Tour started at 9pm in front of the Island Bookstore. There were 40 people in my group sold out but the Guide made it manageable by sitting us down to tell stories in front of the hotels. The Island House Hotel — One of the most haunted rooms on the island? Some interesting things also thrown in: The son of the murder victim from The Murray Hotel took the tour two years ago and appreciated the fact they were still talking about his mothers murder which remains unsolved.
